We survived Disney...it was so much fun! We surprised the girls last Thursday by pulling up to the airport with suitcases hidden in the back and telling them that we were going to Disneyland. Elise freaked out and kept asking if we were joking, and Olivia was just like..."ok, where?" I wouldn't have done it any other way. yes, we didn't get to go through the hype of counting the days down, but I actually dread the questions of "how many more sleeps till this and that" so I was happy to avoid that. Olivia was hilarious flying, she sat there and asked like 40 times "are we flying? are we flying now? are we flying? now are we?..." like non stop. and this poor lady who was obviously anxious about flying because she was white knuckling the arm rest had to hear Olivia yell "the plane is going in the water!!! It's going in the WATER!" yeah, that wasn't cool.
Our first park day was awesome, we did so many rides. And got to share the whole experience with family that met up with us. The girls LOVED seeing the princesses and got a chance to dance with them and listen to them read stories. Elise surprised us all by wanted to go on the fastest rides in the park. She actually cried one night when the tower or terror was closed, so we took her the next day and she had a blast. She tried wearing her boots to get on the 42" rides, but it was a no go as she missed it by just a tiny bit.
Elise's fav ride was Big thunder
Ruben's was space mountain
Olivia's was Nemo
and mine was teacups! so much fun!
