Family time

well here are some long overdue photos that i just haven't been inspired to put up.

First of all...here are the girls on their first day of school! They love going - which makes my life so much easier. They're both pretty happy with their classes and seem to be doing well!

Olivia the chatterbox telling stories. Her shirt is so bright it actually hurts my eyes.

so I've had more time in the days to spend with this little baby monkey - who is turning into a handful. She's lucky she's so cute and loveable.

Here is Penelope at the lake with daddy, we spent a nice day up at shawnigan with some friends, too bad i didn't get many photos. it's kind of hard with kids, docks and open water. but it sure is beautiful.

(Maria - do you recognize Nola's hat??? :)

We went to Parksville this week-end and spent some family time together. Olivia is not a fan of car rides and was like a miserable old lady for most of the time we had to drive. But she loved seeing all the animals. She petted goats, sheep, bunnies, chickens, cows - you name it. I had to make sure her arm wasn't going to get eaten off half the time because she just walks right up to animals and jumps right in. we really enjoyed Tiger Lily farms and the Little Qualicum cheese factory. It's such a nice feeling up island, we didn't want our mini vacation to end :(

Our one beach day at Rathtrevor beach. We were planning on going the next day, but it's still hard with an 8 month old who wants to eat sand and is all over the place.
